Wall
Charting Technique® is a consulting facilitation technique
to help Project Managers and Project teams to gather precise requirements
right from the beginning. Using a process in five different stages,
consultants use a project oriented “brain storming” technique in which
participate the different project stakeholders, organizations or
departments within a company. Sessions of Wall
Charting are set-up for each organization entity
or company departments during which the present situation is analyzed.
When all the project stakeholders are represented on the ‘wall
charts’, problems and opportunities are then discussed by consultants
with the project board and company management to elaborate a proposal
including the most appropriate solutions.
Project
Manager and Project Team can then transcript all information gathered this
way into a precise project requirements document which is the result of a
common agreement between stakeholders |
